I love the way Claude Monet mixes many different colors in his works. He applies layers upon layers of color, each showing through the other. Trying to immitate one of the pieces of "Water Lillies", I had to possess his style of dabbing, rather than dragging. I dabbed the layers of paint on the canvas creating his thick buttery image.
